For Tour Operators:

  • Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and business details to create and manage your profile.

  • Tour Information: Descriptions, photos, prices, and availability calendars you provide for publication on the portal.

  • Billing Information: Details needed to process your monthly subscription payment.

For Tourists (Operator’s Clients):

  • Account Information: If you choose to register, we store your name and email to facilitate future bookings.

  • Booking Information: Details of the tours you book so both you and the operator have a clear record.

3. Payment Security – Our Top Priority

We understand that payment security is crucial. For this reason:

  • We Never See or Store Your Card Data: PiaWak never stores the full numbers of your credit or debit card on its servers.

  • Certified Payment Gateways: All payment processes are handled by third-party providers (such as Wompi or Stripe) that hold PCI DSS Level 1 certification, the highest security standard in the payment industry. They are responsible for protecting your financial information.

4. How We Protect Your Information

We use multiple layers of security to keep your data safe.

  • Data Encryption: All information transferred between your device and our servers is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher. Sensitive data stored in our databases is also encrypted.

  • Strict Access Control: The platform is designed to ensure that only you can access your information. One operator cannot see another operator’s private data. We implement a role and permission system based on the principle of least privilege.

  • Security by Design: PiaWak is developed following industry best practices, including OWASP Top 10 recommendations, to prevent common vulnerabilities from the code level.

  • To Operate the Platform: Facilitate bookings, process payments, and enable communication between operators and tourists.

  • To Manage Your Account: Create your profile, process your subscription (for operators), and provide access to your bookings.

  • To Communicate with You: Send booking confirmations, important reminders, and account notifications.

  • To Improve Our Service: Analyze usage data anonymously to enhance the platform for all users.

We will never sell your personal information to third parties.
